A Place for PCA

With a smidge under a month left before the first day of school, Nikki and Samantha are pleased to be able to announce that we officially have a signed a contract with a generous and enthusiastic host church! North of Linn Valley on the corner of Jingo Rd and the Linn Valley exit to 69 hwy (399th St) is nestled a sweet church that is ready to do big things. The Truth Church, led by a God-driven dreamer backed up by generations of Christian example, Pastor Brandon Hilton, has welcomed Proverbs Christian Academy with open arms and the opportunity for a big bear hug!

Just as pieces have nearly fallen into place for us (surely by God's means, not our own), The Truth Church claims a similar story in their own beckoning history. Better yet, go meet them! We have not yet met someone there who did not seem to be brimming bright with the influence of the Spirit. Bring your Bible and your notebook because these are people who actually do practice what they preach -which is one of the clear signs we have received that we might be just as good a fit for each other as we hope to be!

We are still planning to engage with all the local churches and community groups, as they are willing. To be clear, every church we have approached has expressed offers of encouragement and supportive prayer and we couldn't be more grateful to everyone for that as we have hurtled through our baby steps.

Nothing is a coincidence in God's Kingdom and we can't wait to see what parts of His plan unfold through the partnership between our The Truth Church, Proverbs Christian Academy, and our shared local community!
